Qozidavlat Qoimdodov had a courtesy meeting with the Ambassador of the Republic of Portugal to Tajikistan H.E. Mrs. Maria Madalena Lobu Carvalho Fisher.
During the meeting that took place in the AKDN Office, the parties emphasized the possibilities of bilateral and multilateral cooperation in the social, economic and educational sectors and expressed their readiness to expand this cooperation, says press release issued by the AKDN office in Tajikistan on March 15.
It was reportedly noted that the experience and activities of AKDN programs in many countries of the world can contribute to the well-being of life of the Tajik people.
At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness for bilateral cooperation.
On March 14, AKDN Resident Representative Qozidavlat Qoimdodov met with H.E. Mr. Umut Acar, the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkiye to the Republic of Tajikistan.
During the meeting, at the request of Ambassador Acar, the AKDN Resident Representative briefed him on the activities of AKDN agencies in Tajikistan and invited him to field visits of projects and programs in all regions of the republic, the AKDN Office press release said.
The parties reportedly reviewed the experience of the previous cooperation of the AKDN agencies with Turkiye and expressed the opinion that this bilateral cooperation in various social, economic and cultural sectors should be expanded and developed and directed to the benefit of the people of Tajikistan.
