Three killed in fire in Dushanbe in New Year’s night

, January 3, Asia-Plus - One woman and two her children were killed on the night of December 31 – January 1 as fire broke out in their apartment, according to information from the Tajik Fire Brigade.
According to the fire brigade press service, the tragedy took place in Ispechak-2 microrayon of the
Dushanbe
district of Sino. “The apartment and all their holders belongings were burnt in this fire completely,” the source said, noting that according to preliminary investigation the cause of the fire was alight cigarette-stub.
The source has also noted that six fires were reported in residential buildings in
Dushanbe
on the night of December 31 – January 1. The main cause of these fires was careless treatment of fire.
