One killed, seven injured in home gas blast

, January 18, Asia-Plus - One person was killed and seven others were injured Monday evening [January 16] as a gas cylinder blew up in residential building in Shahrinav District (central
Tajikistan
).
According to information from the Tajik firefighting service, the tragedy took place in the house of Qutbiddin Nozimov, the
Village
of
Markobod
in Shahrinav District. “The householder left a four-liter gas cylinder near the working stove. Fire resulted from the gas blast killing the five-year Mahmadrajab Sayfulloyev and leaving seven others with injures,” the source said.
The injured were taken to the central district hospital. According to medical workers, the householder’s wife and two her daughters are in serious condition.
