DUSHANBE , July 18, Asia-Plus - A minor earthquake measuring 2.5-3.0 on the 12-point scale jolted Dushanbe today morning, at 8:43 a.m. , according to information from the Republican Seismological Station.

The source says the tremor also could be felt in southeast areas of Tajikistan , Kulob region of Khatlon.  The tremors were centered in the Temurmalik district, some 70 kilometers southeast of the Tajik capital.  In the epicenter, the quake’s magnitude was 4.0-5.0 on the Richter scale, according to the Republican Seismological Station. 

The source in the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) says that according to the preliminary data, no damage or injured was reported.
