DUSHANBE, August 23, Asia-Plus – One Tajik has been killed and two others have been injured in an attack in the Mytishchi district of the Moscow region.
Gazeta.ru quoted a police source as saying that a group of unknown people burst into half-finished residential building and attacked three citizens of Tajikistan, inflicting stab wounds on them. One of Tajiks died on the spot and two others receive multiple stab wounds, according to the source. The assailants took US$100, 2,000 Russian rubles and two cellular phones from them. The injured were taken to the nearby hospital.
Gazeta.ru reports the incident took place on the night of August 21-22.
The police have launched an investigation into the attack.
