DUSHANBE, January 18, Asia-Plus - A fire occurred on the Barakat market in Dushanbe today morning, according to the Dushanbe firefighting service.
A source at the Dushanbe firefighting service said that they received a call about the fire today, early in the morning and sent six firefighting crews to the fire site.
The firefighting service orderly officer said that the fire broke out in one of food shops located on the ground floor of the market, damaging a space of some 150 square meters.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. No injured was reported, according to the source.
