DUSHANBE, June 22, Asia-Plus — Tohir Ahmadov, the head of the consular department of Tajik Embassy in Moscow, has visited the city of Solnechnogorsk in the Moscow region to visit Tajik national hospitalized with symptoms of food poisoning, Asia-Plus has learned at the Tajik Embassy in Moscow.
Muhammad Egamzod, press secretary with the Tajik Embassy in Moscow, said Tajik diplomat had visited Solnechnogorsk to investigate what exactly happened to Tajik labor migrants. “Ambassador Abdulmajid Dostiyev has charged the consular department and the group working with Tajik Diaspora in Russia to provide every kind of assistance the hospitalized Tajik nationals,” Egamzod said.
As it had been reported earlier, 41 Tajik labor migrants working on the site for the terminal Sheremetyevo-3 airport in the Moscow regional were hospitalized Thursday night with symptoms of food poisoning. The cause of the food poisoning is under investigation.
