DUSHANBE, May 12, Asia-Plus -- One of victims of a May 9 traffic accident in the Victory Park in Dushanbe has died in hospital.
Captain Farhod Jaffarov, an officer with press service of the Ministry of Interior (MoI), who one of five victims of the traffic accident that took place in the Victory Park on May 9, died in hospital on Sunday, May 11, the source at a MoI said.
We will recall that five persons were injured and taken to hospital on May 9 as a police cruiser hit celebrating crowd in the Victory Park in Dushanbe. The MoI source said the first deputy chief of the Dushanbe police directorate, Nusratullo Bayonov, had been at the wheel. According to him, Bayonov lost control of the vehicle on the slippery road (it had been raining in Dushanbe on May 9).
