DUSHANBE, September 1, 2008, Asia-Plus -- Quite a strong tremor jolted Tajikistan today morning.
Tremor measuring 4.0 on a 12-point scale hit Dushanbe today at 9:24 a.m., according to the Committee for Emergency Situations (CES).
The source at a CES said that the quake’s epicenter was in the Khatlon province, some 122 kilometers to the southeast of Dushanbe and its magnitude in the epicenter was 6.0 on the 12-point scale. No damage or injured was reported, according to the source.
