DUSHANBE, September 15, 2008, Asia-Plus -- Three persons were killed Sunday as two vehicles collided in the Fayzobod district, eastern Tajikistan, according to the Tajik traffic police directorate.
The accident took place on the 34th kilometer of the road Vahdat-Rasht. “A heavy truck KamAZ, driven by Davlat Bouriyev, collided with a car VAZ2106, driven by Jaloliddin Tabarov,” the source said, “The VAZ-2106 driver and his two passengers died at the scene of accident.”
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
