KHUJAND, January 4, 2009, Asia-Plus -- A year-old baby has died of carbon monoxide poisoning in the Sughd province, according to press service of the Sughd police directorate.
The tragedy took place in the Asht district on January 2. A fire caused by a candle left unattended broke out in one of residential houses in the district Friday night. “The year-old baby that was in the cradle died of the carbon monoxide poisoning,” the source said.
