QURGHON TEPPA, February 25, 2009, Asia-Plus -- Unidentified armed persons attacked one of money transfer points of Eskhata Bank’s branch in Qurghon Teppa, the capital of the Khatlon province today at around 12:00.
Assailants managed to escape, no injured was reported. Police cordoned off the site. Tajik law enforcement authorities confirmed the information. However, they refrained from giving further details of the attack, noting that a special press conference on this incident would be given at 4:00 p.m.
