KULOB, May 5, 2009, Asia-Plus - The body of a 10-year-old girl was found in the Yakhsou River near the village of Dahana in the Kulob district Monday evening.
According to the Kulob prosecutor Nasrullo Mahmoudov, she was identified as Mohira Jabbor from the village of Khojai Nour in the neighboring Muminobod district.
“On Monday May 4, Mohira and her farther were pasturing cattle near their village as a mudslide hit the area. The mudslide carried the girl to the river,” the prosecutor said.
