DUSHANBE, September 3, 2010, Asia-Plus -- It is quite possible that a suicide bomber has blown up an explosive-packed car at the building of the Sughd regional body empowered to combat organized crime, a source at one of power-wielding structures of the country told Asia-Plus today.
The source says that according to adjusted data the explosive-packed car blew up outside the building of the Sughd regional anti organized crime department in Khujand today morning.
“The blast has caused serious damage to the building and there are many injured people,” said the source, “Twelve injured people have already been taken to hospital.”
Information about the blast is discrepant. Some witnesses, for example say the suicide bomber tried to drive the explosive-packed car into the anti organized crime department building, while others say the explosive-packed car blew up out side the anti organize crime department building.
