DUSHANBE, January 25, 2011, Asia-Plus -- According to the Tajik Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the number o Tajik nationals killed in an explosion at Moscow’s Domodedovo airport has risen to two.

We will recall that Tajik Embassy in Moscow told Asia-Plus Monday afternoon that one Tajik national is among those killed in the explosion at Moscow’s Domodedovo airport and he was identified as 24-year-old resident of Jirgatol district Murat Haqnazarov.

According to the Tajik MFA information department, the second Tajik national killed in the Domodedovo explosion was identified as 48-year-old Sobir Jaborov.

In the meantime, the number of Tajiks wounded in the explosion at the Domodedovo airport has risen to thirteen.  “The 42-yer-old Nasiba Samiyeva was also wounded in the explosion,” said the source, “She is currently in Moscow hospital # 20.”  Earlier, it was reported that twelve other Tajik nationals were wounded in the Domodedovo explosion.

The explosion happened in the international arrivals hall of the Domodedovo airport, which is the busiest airport serving Russia''s capital, on Monday, at about 16:31 local time.

According to the latest data from Russia’s appropriate services, 35 persons were killed and some 100 others were injured, many of them critically, at a bomb attack at Moscow’s Domodedovo airport.  Investigators say the explosion, which happened in the arrivals hall, was caused by a suicide bomber.
