KHUJAND, January 26, 2011, Asia-Plus -- Three persons were killed and at least two others were injured on January 25 as two cars collided in Mastchoh district, Sughd province.
According to the Sughd traffic police department, the accident took place near the settlement of Buston, the administrative center of Mastchoh district yesterday afternoon. Toyota Camry went into oncoming traffic and collided with another Toyota.
“As a result of the collision, three passengers of Toyota Camry were killed and both drivers sustained various injuries and were taken to the regional hospital in Khujand,” the source said.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
