DUSHANBE, January 3, 2012, Asia-Plus -- A year-old old baby girl has died in a home fire in the Roudaki district.
According to the Interior Ministry fire-fighting department, the fire broke in a house in the Roudaki district on January 1, destroying a space of 24 square meters. A year-old baby girl who got carbon monoxide poisoning died on the way to hospital, the source said.
Besides, fire broke out in the Khuroson district, Khatlon province on December 31. Residential building was fully destroyed by the fire; fortunately, no casualties were reported in the Khuroson district.
In both cases, the fire was reportedly caused by the misuse of the cast-iron moveable wood stove.
