DUSHANBE, October 14, 2015, Asia-Plus – Four people have been killed and several others have been injured in an oil storage depot blast in the Roudaki district.
According to the Interior Ministry’s website, four people were killed and several others were injured on October 13 as an explosion occurred in the territory of the oil storage depot located near the village of Arbobkhotoun in the Roudaki district.
The incident took place yesterday evening at around 6:00 pm. The explosion was reportedly caused by inobservance of safety measures during gas-welding operations.
This oil storage depot is leased by Gazpomneft-Tajikistan Company.
