DUSHANBE, October 14, 2015, Asia-Plus -- Gazpromneft-Tajikistan says the oil storage depot, at which an explosion has left four dead, does not belong to it.
In a statement released on October 14, the company says the oil storage depot does not belong to it but it belongs to the limited liability company Bafoyev Ghaybullo and Gazpromneft-Tajikistan just has a contract with Bafoyev Ghaybullo on storing oil products at that oil storage depot.
According to the Interior Ministry’s website, four people were killed and several others were injured on October 13 as an explosion occurred in the territory of the oil storage depot located near the village of Arbobkhotoun in the Roudaki district.
The accident took place Tuesday (October 13) evening at around 6:00 pm. The explosion was reportedly caused by inobservance of safety measures during gas-welding operations.
