DUSHANBE, October 23, 2015, Asia-Plus – A group of Tajik nationals living in the United States intend to picket the Russian Consulate in New York over the death of Tajik five-month-old baby, who died in hospital in the Russian city of St. Petersburg on October 14.
“We will demand that those guilty of the death of the five-month-old Umarali Nazarov, who died in hospital in St. Petersburg in unexplained circumstances, be revealed and punished,” one of organizers of the upcoming action of protest told Asia-Plus in an interview.
They have decided to conduct the action of protest on October 27 in New York at the 91st Street between 5th and Madison Avenues, where the Russian Consulate is located.
About 100-200 Tajik nationals living in New York and New Jersey are expected to gather near the Russian Consulate in New York on October 27.
