Ex-head of Tajik Diaspora in Russia’s Chelyabinsk oblast, Asadullo Mahmoudov, has been killed.
According to Russian media outlets, Asadullo Mahmoudov, 49, was shot dead yesterday afternoon in his car near his house in the city of Magnitogorsk, Chelyabinsk oblast.
Investigators reportedly suppose that it was a contract killing.
Mahmoudov is already the fourth Tajik businessman killed in Magnitogorsk over the past two years; but no one of those killings has been solved so far.
Mahmoudov was native of the Zargar jamoat in Bokhtar district of Khatlon province. He served in the Soviet military contingent in Afghanistan. Mahmoudov graduated from the Tajik Technical University in Dushanbe. He left behind a wife and one son.
