The Committee on Emergency Situations and Civil Defense (CES) under the Government of Tajikistan warns of risk of avalanches in mountain areas today and tomorrow.
“There is also possibility of icy conditions on roads and heavy fog in some areas, Umeda Yusufi, a spokeswoman for the CES, told Asia-Plus in an interview.
Tajik emergency management agency advises people not to travel to mountain areas unnecessarily.
