Four persons were killed on August 17 after a truck fell over a 16 meter precipice in Jomi district, Khatlon province, according to the Interior Ministry’s website.
The accident reportedly took place in the morning at around 9:00 am in the Nav Bunyod area.
The truck ZIL-MMZ-554 with people on board was moving from a cemetery of the Buston village to the Navdi village.
The driver apparently lost control of the truck and it fell over a 16-meter precipice on a turn in the Navdi-Buston area.
As a result of the accident, four passengers sustained serious injuries and died in a hospital.
