DUSHANBE , January 3, Asia-Plus - Last week, officers of the Tajik Ministry of Interior intercepted 21.503 kilograms of drugs in Tajikistan , the Interior Ministry press service reported.

According to the Interior Ministry press service, the totaled included 2.48 kilograms of heroin, 17.71 kilograms of marijuana and 1.60 kilograms of raw opium. 

Khudoinazar Asoyev, chief spokesman for the interior ministry, says 6 drug-trafficking-related crimes were solved last week and criminal proceedings were instituted against six persons detained on suspicion of having been involved drug trafficking.
