DUSHANBE , January 31, Asia-Plus -- Tajikistan ’s police are intensively seeking the person suspected on having killed the head of Tajikistan ’ Military Institute Hokimsho Hofizov.  

According information from the prosecutor’s office in the Dushanbe district of Sino, the law enforcement agencies have made up a comparative portrait of the alleged killer following questioning witnesses.  The source refrained from giving further details.  

Major General Hokimsho Hofizov, head of the Tajik Defense Ministry''s military academy, was shot dead by unidentified gunmen in Dushanbe Friday [January 27] morning near his house.  Criminal proceedings have been instituted and investigation is under way.   The law enforcement agencies are considering possible motives for the crime.
