DUSHANBE, March 27, Asia-Plus -- Preparing a common list of narcotic drugs and precursors is one of major topics of a session of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) coordinating council of heads of the counternarcotics agencies that opened in Astana, Kazakhstan today.
According to the CSTO press service, the coordinating council also has to consider the issue related to giving a status of regional anti-drug project to the Operation Channel, which is carried out within the CSTO area annually.
Besides, the meeting participants have to consider and endorse the list of information resources to be included into a joint database on issues related to trafficking in drugs, psychotropic substances and precursors.
The deputy director of the Tajik Drug Control Agency (DCA) Vaysiddin Azamatov is representing Tajikistan at this meeting.
