KHUJAND, December 17, 2008, Asia-Plus -- Six wraps of narcotic drug that tested positive to heroin weighing 4.2 grams have been found in a food parcel intended for inmate of a penal colony in Khujand, according to the Sughd police directorate.
“Police officers have found heroin while checking a food parcel delivered to prisoner Akram Azimov,” the source said, noting that criminal proceedings have been instituted on drug-trafficking charges and an investigation is under way.
