KHOROG, March 13, 2009, Asia-Plus  -- The trial of two – Mr. Sulaymon Mansourov from Shahrinav district, central Tajikistan and Ms. Mavlouda Boboyeva from Uzbekistan’s Surkhandarya region -- that began in the GBAO regional court in Khorog this week has been adjourned until the accused Uzbek national feels better.

The judge ordered the adjournment after Ms. Mavlouda Boboyeva, lost consciousness during the trial.

Speaking in an interview with Asia-Plus, the GBAO regional court chairman Saidmusalam Shomusalamov said that the Tajik national Sulaymon Mansourov the Uzbek national Mavlouda Boboyeva faced charge of an attempt to illegally crossing border.

Mavlouda Boboyeva, her 11-year-old daughter and Sulaymon Mansourov were detained near the village of Shanbede in GBAO’s Ishkashim district in September 2008 when they were trying to illegally cross the border river

During the trial, Mansourov said that Boboyeva had paid him 600 US dollars for conveying her and her daughter to Iran via Afghanistan .   According to him, he met Boboyeva’s 14-year-old son in Iran who is studying at madrasah there and he asked him to convey his mother and sister to Iran .
