DUSHANBE, June 20, 2012, Asia-Plus – An officer from the customs control point at the Dushanbe officer face bribery charge.
An official website of the Ministry of Interior (MoI) reports Vali Nourov, 48, was caught red-handed Tuesday evening when he was taking a 200 somoni bribe from a passenger at the luggage hall.
Criminal proceedings have been instituted against the corrupt customs officers and an investigation is under way.
