A young woman from the northern Ayni district has killed her sister-in-law (her husband’s sister) pushing her off the precipice, according to the Interior Ministry’s website.
The body of 23-year-old resident of the village of Fatmev having the signs of a violent death was found in the Safediyon area on November 18.
Her 25-year-old sister-in-law (her brother’s wife) was reportedly detained on suspicion of committing that crime.
According to the preliminary investigation, the suspect pushed the young woman off the 10-meter precipice and then stoned her to death because of personal hatred for her.
Criminal proceedings have been instituted and an investigation is under way.
