Employees of the Investigative Department of the Prosecutor General's Office of Tajikistan detained the head of the Personnel Department of the “Ibn Sino” International Clinic Abdukodir Rustam on the evening of August 31, when he was leaving the office.

Neither the official structures nor he himself informed the family about the detention, Radio “Ozodi” reports.

The employee of the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office did not deny or confirm the news about the detention. At the same time, two employees of the clinic said that they witnessed the detention of the head of the personnel department.

Most likely, this detention is connected with the case of the founder and owner of the Tajik-Iranian clinic "Ibn Sino" Abdukhalil Kholikzoda, who, according to the written response of the Supreme Court of Tajikistan, is accused of inciting social, racial, national, regional, religious (confessional) enmity or discord committed by a group of persons by prior agreement. Kholikzoda himself denies this accusation.

The accusation was made in connection with the book of memoirs of Abdukhalil Kholikzoda published in March of this year "Events of my life".

Abdukodir Rustam was the editor of this book, and during the presentation he sat next to Kholikzoda.

Abdukhalil Kholikzoda himself was detained on August 7. This was officially announced only on August 15 at a press conference.

Abdukodir Rustam was active on social networks until his arrest. His last post was published on July 31.
