DUSHANBE, August 29, 2011, Asia-Plus -- Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari received Tajik Ambassador to Pakistan Zubaydullo Zubaydov at the end of last week.
According to the Tajik MFA information department, the two discussed a broad range of issues related to bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Pakistan.
In the course of the talk, President Asif Ai Zardari expressed satisfaction with the pace of expansion of bilateral mutually beneficial cooperation between the two nations and noted that his country was interested in further expansion of cooperation with Tajikistan.
During the meeting, they also discussed the upcoming quadripartite meeting of the presidents of Afghanistan, Pakistan, Tajikistan and Russia that is expected to take place in Dushanbe on September 2.
