On Monday August 22, Tajik Foreign Minister Sirojiddin Muhriddin met here with the World Food Programme (WFP) Regional Director for Asia and the Pacific, Mr. John Ayliff.
The Tajik MFA information department says the parties discussed issues related to cooperation between Tajikistan and WFP, including implementation process of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG-2), Food Security, Adaptation to Climate Change and Disaster Risk Reduction.
The World Food Programme is the world’s largest humanitarian organization, saving lives in emergencies and using food assistance to build a pathway to peace, stability and prosperity for people recovering from conflict, disasters and the impact of climate change.
