, January 20, Asia-Plus - President Emomali Rahmonov will attend an extraordinary summit meeting of heads of state from countries making up the Eurasian Economic Community (EAEC) that will be held in
St. Petersburg
on January 25, presidential press service reported.
Uzbekistan
’s entry into the EAEC will top the session’s agenda, according to the source.
Heads of member nations of the Community are also supposed to discuss draft agreements “On Cooperation in Formation of the EAEC Integrated Currency Market” and “On Interaction between Border Services of Member Nations of the EAEC in Case of Emergence of Crisis Situations on External Borders”.
