Dushanbe legislature to consider state of water supply system in Tajik capital

, June 13, Asia-Plus - The Dushanbe city legislature (Majlis) is supposed to hold its sixth session on June 23, according to information from mayoral press service.
Shavkat Saidov, a spokesman for the
Dushanbe
mayor, has told Asia-Plus that the session will focus on a state of water supply system in the city and provision of the population with safe drinking water.
Jamshed Laqayev, director of the unit for implementation of the water supply project in
Dushanbe
, will report on the work carried out, and Deputy Dushanbe mayor, Abdukarim Abdurrahimov, will present to members of the
Dushanbe
legislature a program for industrial development of the city designed for 2006-2010, according to Shakat Saidov.
