DUSAHNBE, August 12, Asia-Plus -- President Emomali Rahmonov presided over a working meeting with participation of heads of a number of ministries and organizations and other officials on August 11.
According to presidential press service, the meeting was held to discuss issues related to systematically developing the country’s economy and curbing inflation.
The source says President Rahmonov heard reports of officials about the work done and demanded at the meeting that adequate measures should be taken to tackle the existing problems.
The meeting also considered issues of improvement of strategy and tactics of national and regional economics within the Eurasian Economic Community (EAEC), concerted legal foundation for creation of the Customs Union and the Single Economic Zone within the Community, and joining the World Trade Organization (WTO).
