DUSHANBE, December 4, Asia-Plus - Dushanbe Mayor Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloyev presided over a meeting with participation of heads passenger transport and communal services today.  The meeting was held to discuss issues related to coordinating work of these services in the winter period.   

Shavkat Saidov, a spokesman for the Dushanbe mayor, said that Ubaidulloyev had demanded at the meeting that work of road-clearing services should be intensified.  In this connection, it was decided to use more snowploughs in order to keep streets and avenues open for traffic.  

On the energy supplies issue, the mayor ordered heads of enterprises of strategic importance to use alternate sources of power to supply electrical power to their enterprises from 10:00 p.m. to 6:0 a.m.
