KHUJAND, January 9, Asia-Plus -- By prosecutor-general’s resolution Khayrullo N. Saidov has been appointed to head the Sughd regional prosecutor’s office. 

On Monday January 8, Tajik chief prosecutor Bobojon Bobokhonov introduced the new regional prosecutor to the staff of the Sughd prosecutor’s office. 

Khayrullo Saidov had previously served as prosecutor of the Bobojonghafurov district (Sughd). 

Besides, Muzaffarkhon Boqiyev has been appointed the first deputy Sughd prosecutor and Anvar Qanoatov has been appointed deputy Sughd prosecutor.  

A source at the Sughd prosecutor’s office said that the newly appointed Sughd prosecutor intends to hold a meeting with journalists within the next few days.
