DUSHANBE, April 13, Asia-Plus - A commission for consideration of projects for the construction of the Abu Abdullo Rudaki memorial complex in the Tajik capital met yesterday to sum up the contest’s results.
All projects participating in the contest, which was announced by the Dushanbe mayor’s office in February, have been put on display in the Ismoili Somoni monument’s pantheon.
Shavkat Saidov a spokesman for the Dushanbe mayor, said that those interested might come to the pantheon to familiarize themselves with the projects and express their wishes. The winner’s name will be known on Monday, according him.
The complex dedicated to the founder of Tajik-Persian literature is supposed to be constructed in the Dushanbe Central Park.
