DUSHANBE, April 30, Asia-Plus -- To intensify work on protection of human rights and further democratization of society it is necessary to solve the issue of establishment of the ombudsman institution in Tajikistan, President Emomali Rahmon remarked in his April 30 address to parliament.
According to him, this structure as one of democratic institutions should promote expansion of interaction between state bodies and civil society.
The head of state stressed that it is impossible to provide supremacy of law without maintaining public order and stability in society.
He pointed to the necessity of strengthening fight against terrorism, extremism, drug trafficking, trafficking in persons and other transnational organized crimes.
Rahmon underlined the important role of judicial system in providing legality and justice as one of significant conditions for development of the country.
