KHUJAND, June 26, Asia-Plus — A new head of the Sughd TV and radio committee has been appointed.   .

On June 25, by order of the head of Tajikistan’s Committee for TV and Radio-broadcasting Ishoqjon Zokirov was appointed to head the Sughd regional TV and radio committee, replacing Saidumron Saidov. 

Ishoqjon Zokirov had previously been editor-in-chief of the regional official newspaper Leninabadskaya Pravda .  

According to press service of the Sughd government, Saidumron Saidov was relieved of his post of head of the Sughd regional TV and radio committee in connection with transfer to other job.
