DUSHANBE, October 8, Asia-Plus -- Russian President Vladimir Putin has been awarded high Tajik decoration.
Saturday evening, President Emomali Rahmon bestowed an Order of Ismoili Somoni on his Russian counterpart, President Vladimir Putin.
Emomali Rahmon noted that the Russian leader had made significant contribution to expansion of many-sided Tajik-Russian cooperation.
For his part, Vladimir Putin stressed that Russia will remain guarantor of security of Tajikistan.
