DUSHANBE, February 20, Asia-Plus -- The 14th session of the Majlisi Milli (Tajikistan’s upper chamber of Tajik parliament) of the third convocation is scheduled to be held in Dushanbe on March 6.
Shavkat Saidov, an aide to the Majlisi Milli speaker for relations with media and NGOs, said that the Majlisi Milli board had recommended tabling the laws on mortgage, state registration of real estate, as well as amendments to the tax code to the session’s agenda.
We will recall that the president returned them to the parliament in January as requiring improvement and they were reconsidered by the lower house (Majlisi Namoyandagon) of the parliament.
Besides, members of the upper house will also consider the law on fire safety as well as amendments to a number of other laws that were adopted by the lower house.
