DUSHANBE, April 7, Asia-Plus -- The board (Shuro) of Tajikistan’s lower chamber (Majlisi Namoyandagon) of parliament considered a draft law on the treasury at an April 7 meeting presided over by its speaker, Saydullo Khairulloyev.
Muhammadato Sultonov, a spokesman for the Majlisi Namoyandagon, said that the board also considered draft amendments to the laws on safety in industry, self-government bodies in settlements and villages, licensing certain types of activities safety, agreement on division of property and state duties as well as well as the land, criminal criminal-procedural, tax, customs and administrative codes.
The board also considered the UN anticorruption convention and a protocol on amendments to the agreement on the legal status of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO).
Besides, the board members discussed issues related to giving consent to the government to providing state loans through banks to cotton-growing farms in the Sughd province.
Some of these issues will be considered at the next sitting of fourth session of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the third convocation on April 9, Sultonov said.
