DUSHANBE, July 22, 2009, Asia-Plus  -- In order to give a new impulse to development of work on regulation of terminology as well as preserve purity of literary language and ensure strict observance of the state language law President Emomali Rahmon offers the establishment of the language and terminology committee under the government of the Tajikistan.

He remarked this in a televised appeal made on occasion of the 20th anniversary of the designation of Tajik as the state language.

The president pointed to the necessity of working out of scientific terminology in Tajik for all spheres.  He also noted that during the period of fast-developing progress, technical and technological innovations, it was necessary to work out a national program for development of national language in order to ensure an optimal development of literary language and wider use of it.

The president also urged to take adequate measures to develop independent and complex computer program for further development of the state language and use of it in modern information and communication technologies.

Rahmon also underlined the importance of adoption of a new law on the state language.
