DUSHANBE, December 29, 2009, Asia-Plus -- A December 28 meeting of Tajik Cabinet, presided over by President Emomali Rahmon, considered some 45 issues, according to presidential press service.
The meeting, in particular, reviewed the results of this year’s work and endorsed the plan of work for the first half-year of 2010 as well as the resolution on measures to implement the national budget for 2010.
Sugd governor reported on the targeted use of lands in northern Tajikistan in 2007, 2008 and the first ten months of this year.
Chairman of the Fayzobod district reported on the course of implementation of the national poultry development program designed for 2007-2015.
Speaking at the meeting, President Rahmon charged relevant officials to take efficient measures to ensure the provision of the domestic market with local food products.
The government also approved the national program for production of children’s goods in Tajikistan for the period till 2015, the plan of activities to mark the National Unity Day this year in Gorno Badakhshan, and the charter, structure of management and introduction of Roghun shares and certificates of shares into circulation.
The meeting also endorsed a number of draft laws that were sent for consideration to the parliament.
