DUSHANBE, September 25, 2012, Asia-Plus -- Tajik parliamentary delegation, led Azizmat Imomov, the head of the Majlisi Namoyandagon (Tajikistan’s lower chamber of parliament) Committee on Reglament, is currently in Germany on a familiarization visit.
Muhammadato Sultonov, a spokesman for the Majlisi Namoyandagon, says Tajik MPs left for Germany on September 24 on invitation of the Bundestag (a legislative body in Germany).
Tajik parliamentarians are scheduled to hold talks with head and members of the German-Central Asian Parliamentary Group in the Bundestag as well as heads and members of the Bundestag committees on economics and technologies, social policy, foreign policy and defense.
The Tajik delegation is also expected to hold talks with Mr. Oswald Edward, vice president of the German Bundestag and meet with representatives of Germany’s Foreign Ministry, political parties, financial and economic circles, Sultonov said.
