DUSHANBE, January 6, 2014, Asia-Plus -- On Monday January 6, President Emomali Rahmon received a group of recently appointed officials.
According to the Tajik president’s official website, Khudoberdi Kholiqnazarov, formerly deputy head of the Center for Strategic Studies under the President of Tajikistan, was appointed head of the Center for Strategic Studies, replacing Bobokhon Mahmadov.
Bobokhon Mahmadov was reportedly relieved of his post of head of the Center for Strategic Studies for age reasons.
Abdurahim Kholiqov was reelected head of the Committee on Religious Affairs and Regulation of National Traditions and Rituals under the Government of Tajikistan.
Tojiddin Asoyev and Azizullo Mirzoyev were appointed deputy heads of the Committee on Religious Affairs and Regulation of National Traditions and Rituals under the Government of Tajikistan.
Nourullo Mahmadulloyev was appointed Deputy Minister of Labor, Migration and Population Employment and Anvar Boboyev was appointed to head the Migration Service at the Ministry of Labor, Migration and Population Employment.
Navrouz Jaffarov was appointed Chief Sanitary Inspector of Tajikistan – Deputy Minister of Health and Social Protection.
Tajik known athlete Dilshod Nazarov was appointed deputy head of the Committee on Youth, Sports and Tourism Affairs.
Besides, a number of a number of senior officers of the Agency for State Financial Control and Combating Corruption, the Prosecutor-General’s Office and the Ministry of Interior (MoI) were replaced upon the recommendation of the President.
