DUSHANBE, March 29, 2014, Asia-Plus – A number of staff changes were introduced at a March 28 meeting of the government, presided over by President Emomali Rahmon.
Ms. Bunafsha Odinayeva, formerly deputy Director of the Drug Control Agency under the president of Tajikistan, was appointed Deputy Minister of Culture.
Ms. Zulfiya Odinayeva was appointed Deputy Minister of Transport.
Mr. Abdulhakim Kholov was appointed to head the Agency for Social Protection of the Population, Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population.
Mr. Rahimjon Saidov was appointed Director of the State Service for Supervision in Education.
Mr. Rahmatullo Tavarov was appointed Director of the State Service for Supervision in Architecture and Construction, Committee on Architecture and Construction under the Government of Tajikistan.
Mr. Bahodur Kholnazarov was appointed Director of the Service for Supervision over Pharmaceutical Activities, Ministry of Health and Social Protection of Population.
Mr. Ghafour Khojamurodov was appointed the head the Service for Supervision over Medical Activities and Social Protection of the Population, Ministry of Health and Social Protection of Population.
Mr. Kholmahmad Nazarov was appointed Director of the Center for Sanitary and Epidemiological Supervision, Ministry of Health and Social Protection of Population.
The meeting considered and endorsed the strategy for national debt management designed for 2015-2017.
The meeting also considered a draft law on Islamic banking and amendments proposed to the country’s laws on the National Bank of Tajikistan and state duties. The draft laws will be submitted for consideration to Tajikistan’s lower chamber (Majlisi Namoyandagon) of parliament.
