DUSHANBE, June 19, 2014, Asia-Plus – On Thursday June 19, Tajik President Emomali Rahmon received a group of newly appointed high-ranking border guard officers, according to the Tajik president’s official website.
Habibullo Safarov was appointed First Deputy Head of the Main Border Guard Directorate at the State Committee for National Security (SCNS) and Head of the Main Border Guard Directorate Chief Staff.
Rajab Mahmadaliyev was appointed Deputy Head of the SCNS Main Border Guard Directorate in charge of intelligence and Head of the SCNS Main Border Guard Directorate Intelligence Department.
Mohammad Jaffarov was appointed Deputy Head of the SCNS Main Border Guard Directorate in charge of educational work and Head of the SCNS Main Border Guard Directorate Department for Educational Work.
Besides, the chief of the Main Border Guard Directorate training center and commanders of border units deployed in Tursunzoda, Panj, Shouroobod, Hamadoni, Murgab, Shahritous, Istiqlol (formerly Taboshar), Darvoz, Panjakent, and Langar were replaced.
